In 2004 Lotta took the women's world record in static apnea with a breath hold time of 6 min. 31 sec and won the whole women's competition at the Bios Competition at the Cyprus Open Classic. And 2005 she won the silver medal in the individual world championship in CWT in Nice. 2006 she was part of the Swedish womens team in the world championship in Hurghada where they won the silver medal.
Now she lives in Dahab with her husband Peter and their teenager son Robin. They run Oxygen Dahab, former Island Divers. Lotta runs Freedive Dahab together with Linda Paganelli, Italian freediving champion.
